Dominant Performance by Neal in Kennesaw Win
|
The Put-In-Bay BC extended their losing streak with a loss to the Kennesaw Jets.
The Kennesaw Jets picked up a win at Put-In-Bay Ballpark, knocking off the Put-In-Bay BC, 7-1. Starting pitcher Joshua Neal, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason why. Put-In-Bay's current losing streak has reached 9 games.
Neal, a native of Spring Valley, New York, was dealing all game. He kept Put-In-Bay hitters off-balance, while giving the Jets 8.1 quality innings. Neal threw 114 pitches, allowing 4 hits and striking out 7.
"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Neal said after the game.
