Starting pitcher Lewis Carter pitched well enough to help the Yellowknife Dragonblood beat the Louisiana Dragoons by the score of 5-4. The Dragonblood, now 13-5, have been red hot.

Loring Rommel's hit in the top of the ninth was a game-changer. With two out, he rapped a cutter from Edmond McCord for a 2-run home run. It put Yellowknife in front, 5-4.
