Tula Use Late-Game Magic to Beat Expos
The Tula faced a stiff challenge from Niagara Falls pitcher Cheung Wuying, but persevered to claim a win at Waterfall Park. The final score was 5-3. Wuying went 7.1 innings and allowed 2 earned runs. Edgardo Tejeda picked up the save for Chicago, his 2nd of the year. The Expos fall to 6-10 and continue to sputter in the early going.

Pat Hopkins's hit in the top of the ninth was a game-changer. With one out, he rapped a curveball from Guillermo Guerrero for a 3-run home run. It put Chicago in front, 5-3.

"We'll relax tonight and enjoy this win," said Hopkins.
