The Syracuse Storm got a magnificent performance from pitcher Bob Bolen, who muffled the Rocky Mountain offense en route to a tight 2-1 Storm win at Bellevue Field. The win pushes Syracuse to a record of 8-7.

Bolen delivered a quality start for Syracuse. The 6' 4" left-hander allowed 1 run on 5 hits over 9 innings of work.

"I tell our guys all the time, 'Every pitch is the right pitch if you put it in the right place, you believe in it and have conviction,'" Syracuse manager Curtis Lee said.
