The Syracuse Storm topped the Yellowknife Dragonblood, 6-5, in USSL Single A action at Storm Park. The player of the game was Syracuse pitcher and Corozal, Belize native Víctor Rodríguez. Aurelio Gonzáles earned the save for Syracuse, his 1st of the year. Losses have been few and far between for the Dragonblood so far this season. Their record drops to 7-3.

The Storm got a lift from designated hitter Dave Milligan who had a run-scoring walk in the bottom of the first inning off Wilson Valenzuela. It was his 6th walk of the season and put Syracuse in front, 1-0.
