The Chicago Tula clobbered the Put-In-Bay BC, 13-3, at Ramblers Ballpark today. Chicago first baseman Lorenzo Varela was named player of the game for his productive day. He was 2-3 with 2 home runs and 2 walks, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 4. The Tula, with just their 2nd win so far in 2035, have yet to catch fire.

Varela had a key at-bat for Chicago early in the game. With a runner on 1st, he hit a 2-run home run. It was his 2nd home run of the season and gave Chicago an early 2-0 lead.
