Grand Forks Caterpillars starter Nate Johnstone was in a rhythm all game. He led his team to a win over the Idaho Falls Chukars, 2-1. Grand Forks reliever Mike Livingston picked up the win, upping his record to 3-1. Alonso Rodríguez was saddled with the loss. This win makes it 5 in a row for Grand Forks.
Grand Forks grabbed control in the bottom of the seventh. With one out and runners on 1st and 3rd, Hai-liang Yi delivered a run-scoring single, to make it 2-1 in favor of the Caterpillars.
