Hotspur U-21 Trounce Bulls, 10-2
|
The Phoenix Hotspur U-21 and starting pitcher Dan Bell stifled the Belleville offense en route to a comfortable 10-2 win at Belleville Field. The Bulls, at 15-36, have lost 6 straight games.
In the top of the ninth inning, third baseman Nathan Pruitt delivered a key hit for the Hotspur U-21. With Phoenix leading 6-2, he ripped a grand slam home run.
