River Rats Squelch Bulls Offense in Shutout Win
|
The Columbia River Rats got a good effort from starter Pat Inman in defeating the Mt. Vernon Bulls at Ballpark of Mt. Vernon. The final score was 4-0. Columbia is now 34-17, while Mt. Vernon is 35-16.
Early in the game, center fielder Roderick Bonden had a 3-run home run for Columbia. It was his 5th home run of the season and put the River Rats on top, 3-0.
"I like our moxie," said River Rats manager Félix Cruz.
