Reapers Knock Off Airmen at Alameda Field
|
Riding the 2-hit performance of the 21-year old second baseman Hayes Rutherford, the Grim Reapers stopped the Alameda Airmen, 7-1. With the win, Grim has a record of 21-18. Alameda falls to 22-17.
Rutherford had a key at-bat for Grim early in the game. With the bases loaded, he hit a 2-run single. It was his 29th hit of the season and gave Grim an early 2-0 lead.
"We're all smiles after that win," Rutherford told the Grim Times.
