Chukars Walk Off with 8-6 Win
|
The Idaho Falls Chukars powered past the Belleville Bulls, 8-6, at Idaho Falls Park. Falco Opsteegh was 2-3 with a double and 2 walks. He scored 2 runs, to lead the charge. The Bulls, at 13-17, have lost 7 in a row.
Idaho Falls won the game in the bottom of the tenth inning. With two outs and Luis Soto on the mound for Belleville, third baseman Tadamichi Yamamoto hit a dramatic 2-run home run, bringing Chukars fans to their feet.
"It's a thrill to get that kind of win," Opsteegh said.
