Victory Pushes Reapers Record to 10-7
|
Grim Reapers starter Archie Hodges pitched a strong game against the Phoenix Hotspur U-21 at The Coffin, leading the Reapers to a 5-3 win. The save was Curt Moore's, his 3rd. The loss drops Phoenix to 9-8.
Grim took a 5-2 lead in the bottom of the seventh inning. With no one out, left fielder Brandon Palmer hit a 3-run home run that set the crowd abuzz.
"Baseball is about momentum," said Palmer, "and we feel we've got it in our favor after that win."
