Grasshoppers Topple Shuckers with Late Rally
The San Bernardino Grasshoppers faced a tough opponent in Biloxi pitcher Todd Denton, but did just enough to pull out the victory at The Pizza Oven by a final score of 3-2. Denton went 6.2 innings and allowed 1 earned run. Mark Morgan, credited with the win, is now 4-3. He allowed no runs on no hits in 2 innings. San Bernardino now has a 7-game win streak.

Matt Ouweneel's hit in the top of the ninth was a game-changer. With two out, he rapped a sinker from George Kane for a run-scoring single. It put San Bernardino in front, 3-2.

"In baseball, you have your ups and downs," said Biloxi manager Ken Miller. "You just try to stay level-headed the whole time."
