Reno Silver Sox starter Kendarian Handy-Holly kept the San Bernardino Grasshoppers hitters in check, leading his team to a comfortable 6-2 win. Reno reliever Raúl Valdéz was the winner. His record is now 4-2. Rainer Polonius took the loss. The Silver Sox now have a record of 53-42 with the win over San Bernardino.

Jong-beom Chang was 1 for 4 with a double for Reno. The 26-year old catcher had a key at-bat in the bottom of the sixth. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 2-2 tie with a run-scoring ground out off Rainer Polonius. It was his 22nd RBI of the season.

"Nice to put this one in the win column," said Handy-Holly.
