Extra-Inning Win by Love Boats over Screaming Eagles
Lake Minnetonka and Mercer Island duked it out at Mercer Island Grounds and the Love Boats came out victorious.

Lake Minnetonka rode a decent outing from starter Dennis Blanchard to victory over the Mercer Island Screaming Eagles at Mercer Island Grounds. The final score was 4-3. Lake Minnetonka reliever Harry Stogsdill picked up the win, upping his record to 3-2. Jules Goux was saddled with the loss.

This game was not decided until late. With one out in the top of the tenth, Alfonso Cabedo hit a sacrifice fly. The Love Boats took the lead, 4-3.

"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Cabedo told the Lake Minnetonka Times.

With the win, Lake Minnetonka has a record of 33-32. Mercer Island falls to 32-33.
