Love Boats Take Down Screaming Eagles, 4-1
|
The Lake Minnetonka Love Boats got a strong performance from pitcher Brad Long, who stymied the Mercer Island offense en route to a 4-1 win at Mercer Island Grounds. Mercer Island has now lost 4 consecutive games.
Lake Minnetonka right fielder Juan Ramírez helped the Love Boats go up, 3-1, in the top of the fifth inning. With the game tied, Ramírez hit a 2-run double off Mercer Island pitcher Raimo Kangas.
"Can't say enough about our pitching," said Ramírez.
