Ghosts Top Shuckers to Even Record

Casper and Biloxi duked it out at The Pizza Oven and the Ghosts came out victorious.
Despite a fine performance by second baseman Jorge Iglésias, the Biloxi Shuckers suffered a 6-3 loss to the Casper Ghosts. Iglésias was 1 for 2 with a home run and 2 walks. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. Robert Cagle, who went 5 innings, was the winning pitcher. He was charged with 1 run on 5 hits, while walking 2 and striking out 3. His record now stands at 6-3.
Mike Barrera was one of the major contributors to the win for Casper. The light-hitting left fielder stroked a single to right in the top of the seventh inning. For the day, he was 1-2. He drove in 2 runs.
"I just try to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Barrera.
Casper is 24-24 and Biloxi, with the loss, 19-29.
