Grasshoppers Win in Extras
The San Bernardino Grasshoppers picked up a win at Field of the Grasshoppers, knocking off the Reno Silver Sox, 4-3. Starting pitcher Rich Choquette played a key role in the triumph. San Bernardino is now 14-21, Reno 18-17.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the 11th inning, when San Bernardino center fielder Vicente Romero, facing Dan Fletcher, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Grasshoppers the 4-3 win.

In postgame comments, Choquette said, "I think we gave the fans their money's worth."
