BC Come Back Late to Clip Bowties

The Philadelphia 1776 BC eked out a 2-1 win versus the Buckhead Bowties at 5 Paces Park. Nobody did more than pitcher Elroy Thompkins, who captured player of the game honors. The BC' win now puts them at 45-48.
A crucial at-bat came with a runner on 1st and no one out in the top of the sixth inning. That's when left fielder Jesús Guzmán, who is rated as the 47th best prospect by BNN, drew a walk. The BC went on to win.
"We found a way to get it done," Thompkins said.
