The Mercer Island Screaming Eagles went home winners at Mercer Island Grounds, thanks in large part to starter Will McLeod. McLeod silenced the Biloxi Shuckers, enabling Mercer Island to grab the 3-1 win. Luis Oropeza recorded his 1st save for Mercer Island. The win takes Mercer Island to 7-8.

A crucial at-bat came with the bases empty and no one out in the bottom of the seventh inning. That's when third baseman Emílio Ramírez, who is tied for 10th in the PAA in runs scored with 11, hit a triple. The Screaming Eagles went on to win.

"Can't say enough about our pitching," said Ramírez.
