Victory Pushes Longnecks Record to 55-41
|
Bloomington Longnecks starter Geoff Stackhouse was locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Scranton Supernovas, 6-2. The winning pitcher was Stackhouse, now 3-4. He tossed 5 innings of 3-hit ball, while walking 2 and fanning 2. David Torres was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 1 of 2 save opportunities.
In the top of the third inning, right fielder Richello Mabait came through big-time for the Longnecks. With Bloomington leading 1-0, he belted a 3-run home run.
