|
The Scranton Supernovas got a superb performance from pitcher Juriaan Roos, but the Bloomington Longnecks still won the game, 4-1. Roos was named the player of the game despite the loss. He threw 6 innings of 4-hit ball. Mark Zaugg closed the game out for Bloomington, earning his 5th save. Bloomington is now 53-41, Scranton 46-48.
Enrique Morales had the most critical at-bat for Bloomington. With two in the top of the tenth inning, Morales hit a full count fastball from Amando Codes for a run-scoring single. It put Bloomington in front, 2-1.
"I still think this team has room for improvement," Morales told the Bloomington Daily News.
