Extra-Inning Walk-Off Win for ParksNRec
|
Pawnee rode a fine outing from starter Manuel Delgadillo to victory over the Bloomington Longnecks at Whips Ballpark. The final score was 1-0. Pawnee reliever Jesús Salazar was credited with the win, to go to 3-1. Mark Zaugg took the loss for Bloomington. Pawnee has now won 6 games in a row.
Late in the game, left fielder Hideki Hisanobu had a big at-bat for Pawnee. In the bottom of the tenth, he hit a run-scoring single off Mark Zaugg. The play gave the ParksNRec a 1-0 lead.
"I'll probably toss and turn tonight," Bloomington manager Decheng Sun said following the tough loss.
