Longnecks Bang Out 10-0 Win Versus Santa Barbara
|
It was a good time at Lookouts Ballpark, where fans came to watch the Santa Barbara Golden Cranes and Bloomington Longnecks get after it.
Bloomington rode a good effort from starter Marcos Tejedor to beat the Santa Barbara Golden Cranes at Lookouts Ballpark. The final score was 10-0. Tejedor, the winner, moves to 9-5. He threw 6.1 innings of 4-hit ball, while fanning 4 and giving up 1 walk. Anaías Pedroza notched his 3rd save in 4 chances.
Jeff Solís, who is tied for 8th in the PAAA in doubles with 15, aided the Bloomington cause with a bases-clearing triple in the bottom of the eighth. For the game, the second baseman went 2-5 with a triple and a double, while adding 5 RBI and scoring once.
"I like our moxie," said Longnecks manager Decheng Sun.
The Longnecks improved to 47-32.
