Supernovas Fall Short at Santa Barbara
The Santa Barbara Golden Cranes turned back the Scranton Supernovas, 6-5, at Crane Field. Jin-song Seah was named player of the game for his fine performance. He went 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Santa Barbara reliever Esteban Ruíz was the winner. His record is now 4-1. The losing pitcher was Amando Codes. Wilton Maynard was the walk-off hero for Santa Barbara. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Golden Cranes center fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
