Cepeda Sensational for Supernovas
|
Apollo Cepeda never let the Men get in a groove. The right-hander used his bread and butter, his curveball, to pitch the Supernovas to a 4-0 win. Scranton, at 33-35, sits in 7th place in the Premier AAA.
The Men had trouble solving Cepeda, who surrendered no earned runs on 3 hits over 8 innings.
"We were the better team today. Maybe that won't be the case next game, but we'll enjoy it for now," Cepeda told the Scranton Observer.
