Bowties Get Close Win Over Flamingos
|
Yu-zeng Si led Buckhead to a triumph over Las Vegas. The final score was 7-6. The designated hitter went 3 for 4, falling a triple shy of the cycle. He scored 2 runs and added 2 RBI. Buckhead reliever Yajirobei Otomo picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Christian Mustard took the loss. With the loss, Las Vegas falls to 5-4.
Si had one of his biggest at-bats in the top of the ninth. Facing Christian Mustard, the Buckhead slugger hit a 2-run home run. Suddenly, what had been a 6-5 Buckhead deficit turned into a 7-6 lead. For Si, it was his 3rd home run of the season.
"Feels good to get the job done," Si said after the game.
