Big Day by Vargas Ignites Lynx Win
The Calgary Lynx handed the Brinkley Belugas a loss at Lynx Stadium. The final score was 7-4. Júlio Vargas was named player of the game for Calgary. Vargas had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the seventh. On a 1-2 curveball from Bob Roth, he banged a 3-run home run to left-center, giving the Lynx a 7-4 lead. It was the 6th home run of the year for Vargas.
