Belugas Win Again, Extend Streak to 6
|
Getting an impressive start from Matt Martin, Brinkley beat Calgary by the score of 6-1. Martin, the winner, moves to 2-0. He threw 7.1 innings of 4-hit ball, while fanning 4 and giving up 2 walks. The Belugas, now 26-24, have won 6 in a row.
Rio Clark, who is tied for 8th in the PAAA in triples with 2, helped out the Brinkley cause in the top of the fourth inning with a run-scoring sacrifice fly. For the game, the second baseman drove in one run.
