Supernovas Pin 4-1 Loss on Nobles
|
The Scranton Supernovas picked up a win at Nuclear Stadium, knocking off the Bakersfield Nobles, 4-1. Starting pitcher Kent Horton, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason why. The Supernovas improved to 19-27.
Scranton took a 3-1 lead in the bottom of the seventh inning. With no one out, pinch hitter Luke Kreijling hit a 2-run home run that set the crowd abuzz.
"I'm not out here to win a beauty contest," said Kreijling. "Obviously."
