Dominant Performance by Matson in Boston Win

The Boston Patriots went home winners at Dunkin Donuts Park, thanks in large part to starter Eric Matson. Matson silenced the Philadelphia 1776 BC, enabling Boston to grab the 3-0 win. Carlos Arreola converted his 1st save in 2 tries. Boston is now riding a 4-game win streak.
The BC had trouble solving Matson, who surrendered no earned runs on 3 hits over 7 innings.
Matson said the team appreciates the support from the fans. "I'm glad we could reward them with a good win," he said after the game.
