Richland Rails starter Hiroaki Nakagawa was locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Durham Rapiers, 4-1. Richland reliever Hiroaki Nakagawa was credited with the win, to go to 7-3. Ramón Cerrillo took the loss for Durham. Richland is now 49-52.
Júlio Solís aided the Richland cause with a 2-run triple in the top of the second. For the game, the center fielder went 1 for 4 with a triple, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
"I like what I saw today," said Richland manager Kenny Billings, "and I can't wait to get back out there and do it again."
