The inspired effort of Ottawa catcher Holden Ford was not enough to prevent a 6-5 loss to the Ft. Polk South Thunder Hawks. Ford went 3 for 4 with 2 doubles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Ft. Polk South is now 40-27.

Lucas Gallant tagged a home run off Giddy Potts in the bottom of the ninth. His solo blast put the Thunder Hawks on top, 6-5. In all, Gallant had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.
