Rapiers Top Nationals Behind Roldán, 6-1
|
Ángel Roldán never let Ottawa get something going. The Durham right-hander commanded his fastball in pitching the Rapiers to a 6-1 win. Durham now owns a record of 37-26.
Roldán earned the win, going 7 strong innings for Durham. The native of Eugene, Oregon allowed just 3 hits, while striking out 9. Ottawa hitters did next to nothing against the right-hander.
"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Roldán said after the game.
