Dominant Performance by Aarnoutse in Vancouver Win
The Vancouver Grey Wolves went home winners at Wolf Den in Vancouver, thanks in large part to starter Kenny Aarnoutse. Aarnoutse silenced the Portland Evergreens, enabling Vancouver to grab the 2-1 win. The Grey Wolves saw their win-loss record go to 42-33. At the same time, the Evergreens fell to 48-27.

Aarnoutse worked his mojo for Vancouver. The hard-throwing right-hander allowed no runs on 3 hits over 7 innings of work.

"I like to lead by example," said Aarnoutse. "I'm glad I could contribute to a good win."
