Ortíz Delivers Walk-Off Win for Highlanders
Fans who gathered at Asheville Park saw a good contest between the Asheville Highlanders and Ottawa Nationals.

Asheville Highlanders starter Manuel Medranda was definitely locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Ottawa Nationals, 5-3. Asheville is now 21-28.

Asheville won the game in the bottom of the tenth inning. With one out and Shackleford Stanwick on the mound for Ottawa, left fielder Ximena Ortíz hit a dramatic 2-run home run, bringing Highlanders fans to their feet.

"This place sure got loud," said Jack Alexander, the Asheville manager.
