Hot Start Continues for Voodoo

Behind a solid performance from shortstop Colm Goodwill, the New Orleans Voodoo defeated the Philadelphia 1776 BC, 4-2. Goodwill belted 2 home runs for the Voodoo. Shawn Williams got the win, improving to 2-0. He pitched 6 innings, giving up 5 hits and 2 runs, while striking out 4 and walking 2. Grover Lowdermilk got credit for the save for New Orleans. It was his 3rd of the year.
