Behind a solid performance from center fielder Terry Kurucz, the Ft. Polk South Thunder Hawks defeated the San Antonio BC, 7-4. Kurucz went 3 for 5 with a home run and a double. He scored 3 runs and drove in 3 for the Thunder Hawks. Ft. Polk South is now 25-21, while San Antonio is 29-17.

Kurucz had a game-changing home run in the top of the eighth. On a first pitch cutter from Ramón Negrón, he banged a 3-run home run to right, giving the Thunder Hawks a 6-4 lead. It was the 8th home run of the year for Kurucz.

"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Kurucz. "And not try to do too much."
