The Las Vegas Flamingos got a stellar performance from pitcher Marvin Martin, who handcuffed the D.C. offense en route to a 5-2 win at Washington Stadium. The Flamingos now have a record of 41-33 with the win over D.C..

The Flamingos got a lift from right fielder Glyn Bolasky who had a run-scoring walk in the top of the first inning off Eric Colquhoun. It was his 20th walk of the season and put Las Vegas in front, 1-0.

"We'll pop the top on a cold one and get back to work tomorrow," Martin said.
