Pitcher José Castro was sensational for the Richland Rails in his team's 4-0 triumph over the Olympia Ogres. Castro received player of the game honors, while picking up the win. Castro got the win, improving to 2-1. He allowed 3 hits and walked 1 over 5 innings. Castro allowed no earned runs. Chris Holmes earned the save for Richland, his 3rd of the year.

The Rails picked up the win with a combination of good hitting and good pitching.

Castro expressed little emotion after the game. "Every game we win now," he said, "is one less win we'll need to get in the end."
