Rails Shut Out BC
|
Richland pitcher Aliaume Thiame did his part in helping his team beat the San Antonio BC, 6-0. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Richland reliever Vladmiri Fanardjyan picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Shadi Zafar shouldered the loss. Aliaume Thiame picked up the save for Richland, his 1st of the year.
James Cooper didn't waste any time giving his team the lead. His first time up in the top of the first, he cranked a run-scoring single to put Richland on top, 1-0.
"Winning the game is always the first objective," Thiame said.
Richland now owns a record of 9-20.
