Thunder Hawks Lose, 7-1, at Rapiers Ballpark
Behind a solid performance from first baseman Semo Hoaloha, the Durham Rapiers defeated the Ft. Polk South Thunder Hawks, 7-1. Hoaloha went 2-3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 3 times for the Rapiers. The winner was Ángel Roldán, who threw 94 pitches over 6.1 innings. The right-hander was charged with 1 run on 7 hits. The Thunder Hawks fall to 8-12 and continue their wobbly start to the 2035 season.

Bearooz Yacoobi had a big run-scoring double for the Rapiers in the bottom of the fifth inning. With Durham leading 2-1 and a runner on 3rd, he got a fastball from Ricardo Martínez and stroked the double to left. It was his 5th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Rapiers ahead, 3-1.

Hoaloha told a Durham Daily reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
