Polar Bears Get Close Win Over Rails
The Polar Bears faced a stiff challenge from Richland pitcher Fei-hsien Cuan, but persevered to claim a win at The Igloo. The final score was 4-3. Cuan went 6.1 innings and allowed no earned runs. With the win, Billings goes to 9-5.

Zitomir Weich had a nice at-bat for the Polar Bears with two out in the bottom of the ninth. With runners on 1st and 2nd, the shortstop drew a walk, which would prove important in the Billings win.

After the game, Billings manager Scott Alexander applauded the team's effort. "They busted their tails out there," he said.
