Portland Evergreens starter Jorge Otero was definitely locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Boston Patriots, 3-0. Portland reliever Mark Zaugg was credited with the win, to go to 2-1. Natalino Golaio took the loss for Boston. The save was credited to Raúl Romero, his 15th.

Portland took control in the bottom of the sixth. With one out and a runner on 1st, Billy Dotson hit a 2-run home run to make it 2-0, Evergreens.

"We've got a great group of guys," Dotson said, "and we're having fun right now."

Portland improves to 46-24 with the win. They lead their division by 3 games.
