Nationals Win, Hope to Turn Around Slow Start
The Ottawa Nationals faced a tough opponent in Billings pitcher Jorge Moreno, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Nationals Park by a final score of 3-2. Moreno went 6.1 innings and allowed 2 earned runs. The win was credited to Gavin Burdikin in relief. His record improves to 2-0. Daryl Peterson took the loss. The Nationals are off to a tough start, getting just their 3rd win in 10 games.

Ottawa took a 3-2 lead in the bottom of the seventh inning. With one out, third baseman Manuel Vroonland hit a 3-run home run that set the crowd abuzz.
