Voodoo Sneak Past Grey Wolves, 5-4

The New Orleans Voodoo did just enough to sneak past the Vancouver Grey Wolves, 5-4, at Wolf Den in Vancouver. New Orleans designated hitter Guy Toussaint earned player of the game honors. New Orleans reliever Bill Edmonds picked up the win to move to 3-0. Ramón Costello suffered the loss. New Orleans now sits at 31-36, while Vancouver falls to 39-28.
Toussaint had a game-changing home run in the top of the 11th. On a full count fastball from Ramón Costello, he banged a solo home run to right-center, giving the Voodoo a 5-4 lead. It was the 3rd home run of the year for Toussaint.
"We battled our tails off to get this win," said New Orleans manager Chase Sims.
