Piranhas Fall to Riseley, Hotspur

The Panama City Piranhas and Phoenix Hotspur brought some excitement to Chase Field.
Mare Riseley added some punch to the Phoenix offense, helping them outmuscle the Panama City Piranhas, 11-7. In the game, Riseley, who is rated as the 30th best prospect by BNN, went 4 for 4 with a home run and 2 doubles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3. Masahiro Sakei got the win, improving to 7-5. He pitched 5 innings, giving up 9 hits and 6 runs, while striking out 5 and walking 4.
Harumi Takaki, who is tied for 2nd in the 3L in RBI with 60, contributed to the Phoenix win with a grand slam home run in the bottom of the fourth. For the game, the designated hitter had 3 hits in 5 at-bats with 1 home run, 2 singles, 2 runs scored, and 4 runs batted in.
"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Takaki.
Phoenix is now 35-33, while Panama City is 28-40.
