McCoy Delivers Walk-Off Win for Bowties
|
Fans who gathered at 5 Paces Park saw a good contest between the Buckhead Bowties and Portland Evergreens.
Buckhead Bowties starter David Buchanan turned in an exceptional performance against the Portland Evergreens at 5 Paces Park, resulting in a Buckhead win, 3-2. Buckhead is now 38-25.
Late in the game, right fielder Daniel McCoy had a big at-bat for Buckhead. In the bottom of the 11th, he hit a run-scoring double off Raúl Romero. The play gave the Bowties a 3-2 lead.
"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," McCoy told the Buckhead Chronicle.
