The Quebec City Les Bleus did just enough to secure a 2-1 victory over the Kingston Township Knights at Quebec City Coliseum. Nobody did more than pitcher Tom McKee, who captured player of the game honors. McKee went 7 innings to notch the win. He scattered 5 hits, walked 3, and struck out 8. His record improves to 2-0. Matt Digby earned the save for Quebec City, his 9th of the year.

The Les Bleus got a big at-bat from right fielder Scott Janousek. For the game, Janousek was 1-4. In the bottom of the sixth, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 45th hit of the season gave Quebec City a 2-1 lead.

"We take it day by day here," said Janousek, "and today was a good one for us."
