Pitcher Chris Hayes was sensational for the Baltimore Black Sox in his team's 2-1 triumph over the Scranton Supernovas. Hayes received player of the game honors, while picking up the win. In 8 innings, Hayes surrendered 4 hits, while striking out 5 and walking 3. He allowed 1 run. The win moves Baltimore to a record of 4-4.
Early in the game, second baseman Henry Madore had a 2-run home run for Baltimore. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the Black Sox on top, 2-0.
